Why People Come

Is this what you're dealing with?

Recurring tightness, restricted movement and slow recovery are rarely experienced in exactly the same way. We assess the area and build the session around what we find.

Several methods. One focused plan. A Recovery Session can combine deep tissue work, dry cupping, IASTM muscle scraping and percussion, with Hijama where suitable. We select only what fits the area and give honest guidance when another professional would be more appropriate.

Tightness that keeps coming back

Recurring back, neck or shoulder tension that massage alone hasn't fully resolved.

Gym recovery feels slow

Heavy legs, lower back stiffness or post-training soreness affecting your next session.

Tight hamstrings, calves or glutes

Lower-body tightness affecting squats, running, football, cycling or general movement.

Stress and poor sleep

Long-term tension, restless sleep, low energy and the body holding too much.

Sunnah and wellbeing

Hijama on the recommended Sunnah days, alongside general physical wellbeing.

Tried massage, but the tightness returns

You want a session that can combine hands-on work with cupping, IASTM and percussion instead of relying on one method.

For Athletes

Sports Recovery & Training Tension

For runners, lifters, cyclists, footballers and anyone training regularly. Combined cupping, IASTM and manual therapy for tight hamstrings, calves, glutes, lower back and shoulder restriction. Recovery between sessions, races and training blocks.

If your issue feels muscular, training-related or keeps returning, a Sports & Recovery session may be more suitable. These combine cupping, muscle scraping and manual therapy, with Hijama available where appropriate.

Common Questions

What is included in every session?+
Full consultation and assessment, sterile single-use setup, tailored treatment plan, and written aftercare guidance. Female practitioner available for ladies upon request.
What techniques do you use?+
Wet cupping (Hijama), dry cupping, fire cupping, manual therapy, and IASTM muscle scraping. Each session is tailored, combining methods only when needed.
How do I know which session to book?+
First time or general tension: Signature Hijama. Tightness from training or that keeps coming back: Targeted Sports & Recovery + Hijama. Multiple areas or full body: Full Body Sports & Recovery + Hijama. Or message us on WhatsApp and we'll help you choose.
Do you offer returning-client rates?+
Yes. Clients who book again within 8 weeks of their last session qualify for a returning-client rate. Just mention it when you book and we'll apply it. After 8 weeks, a fresh assessment is needed and the standard rate applies.

Combined Recovery Therapy

For recurring tightness, training load and restricted movement. We assess the area first, then use the methods that fit rather than relying on one technique for every client.

Deep tissue

Hands-on pressure for muscular tightness and sensitive areas.

Dry cupping

Suction-based decompression for tight or restricted tissue.

IASTM scraping

Specialist tool work for stubborn soft-tissue restriction.

Percussion

Massage gun work for targeted areas and warm-up where suitable.

Hijama option

Wet cupping can be included in the same appointment.

Methods are selected after assessing the area. A session may use one technique or a combination, depending on what is appropriate.

Targeted Recovery Session

Combined recovery therapy for one focus area. Deep tissue, dry cupping, IASTM and percussion where suitable.

Best for: One problem area. Tight hamstrings, calves, glutes, lower back, shoulders or upper-back tightness from training or desk posture.

Common Questions

How is this different from a sports massage?+
Sports massage is mainly hands-on pressure. A Recovery Session can also include dry cupping, IASTM muscle scraping and percussion, with Hijama where suitable. This gives us a broader toolkit in one appointment, selected around the area rather than applied as a fixed routine. It is recovery-focused bodywork, not injury diagnosis or physiotherapy. See our sports massage and recovery page for a full comparison.
What's the difference between cupping massage and IASTM?+
Cupping applies suction, while IASTM applies targeted pressure using specialist tools. They create different types of input, so either method may be used alone or combined with hands-on work depending on the area and how it responds.
I'm a runner / lifter / footballer. Will this help?+
Yes. We work with runners (tight hamstrings, calves, IT band), lifters (lower back, shoulders, glutes), footballers (hamstrings, hip flexors, quads) and gym-goers in general. Sessions are tailored to your training load and the specific areas affected.
Will I need several sessions?+
Not automatically. Some long-standing, complex or multi-area issues can need follow-up because there is only so much sensible work to do in one appointment. We assess your response after each session and recommend another only when there is a clear reason.

Standalone Cupping

A lighter option if you don't need Hijama or full recovery work. Cupping without incisions, ideal for first-timers or general tension.

Clinical Dry Cupping

Static suction to release tension and support mobility. No incisions.

Best for: Muscular tension, gym recovery, first-timers unsure about wet cupping.

£35 · No incisions
Book Dry Cupping

Traditional Fire Cupping

Glass cupping using thermal heat to support circulation and ease stiffness.

Best for: Deep chronic stiffness and cold weather aches.

£45 · Glass cupping

Considering Hijama?

Many clients start with dry cupping, then progress to Hijama once familiar with how their body responds. We'll guide you through the right next step.

Returning client? Lower rates apply for sessions booked within 8 weeks of your last visit. Mention it when you book.

Common Questions

Things People Ask Before Booking

The five most common questions before a first session. For everything else, message us on WhatsApp.

Had a poor Hijama experience before? We keep every session private, sterile and clearly explained from start to finish. No pressure, no rushing.

Does Hijama hurt?+

Most clients describe it as a mild scratch, similar to a quick blood test. The cups create gentle suction, not pain. We talk you through every step before starting and adjust as we go. First-timers usually leave saying it was easier than they expected.

How long does a session take?+

Hijama sessions run 30 to 60 minutes depending on the option you choose. Recovery Sessions with cupping, IASTM and deep tissue run 60 to 90 minutes. Allow an extra 10 to 15 minutes at the start for consultation if it's your first visit.

How do I know what to book?+

For recurring tightness or training recovery in one area, choose Targeted Recovery. Add Hijama if you want wet cupping within the same session. For several areas, choose Full Body Recovery. For standalone Sunnah or wellbeing Hijama, choose a Hijama session. You can also message us on WhatsApp and we will point you to the right option.

Is the equipment really single use?+

Yes. Every cup, blade and disposable used during your wet cupping session is single use and opened in front of you. After the session, all clinical waste is disposed of through certified medical waste channels. No exceptions, no reuse.

Will I need several sessions?+

Not automatically. Some long-standing, complex or multi-area issues can need follow-up because there is only so much sensible work to do in one appointment. We assess your response after each session and recommend another only when there is a clear reason.
