Deep tissue massage, cupping and recovery in Hertfordshire.
Firm hands-on treatment for recurring tightness, restricted movement and muscles that still feel guarded after training or a previous injury. Sessions can combine massage, dry cupping, muscle scraping and Hijama wet cupping.
More than a standard massage. We use a broader recovery toolkit, while being clear that injury diagnosis and rehabilitation belong with a physiotherapist or medical professional.

Very friendly and we even had cookie dough together lolPosted on Google SmlazyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Went to Herts Cupping mainly for ongoing tightness in my back and shoulders from work and gym training. I originally thought I just needed a sports massage, but the treatment was a lot more targeted than what I’ve had elsewhere. Had a mix of muscle work and cupping done and honestly felt a noticeable difference in how loose my back felt afterwards. Didn’t feel rushed and they actually explained what they were doing and why certain areas were causing problems. The clinic was clean, private and professional throughout as well which made the whole experience better. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for cupping, sports massage or general recovery treatment around Hertfordshire.Posted on Google MLNTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tried everything for my back and shoulder pain. Physio, osteo, acupuncture, dry needling, you name it but no luck. Then, a buddy suggested wet cupping and the scraping thingy. Looked scary online, but hey, desperate times. Surprisingly, got massive relief in one session. Back pain gone in 10 mins, and even survived the wet cupping. Uncomfortable but worth it. Best sleep in ages! Awesome service, the guy's cool. Definitely telling my friends and fam.Posted on Google Scott LewseyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I visited Herts Cupping for a sports recovery session as I read about their unique approach. The combined treatment was thorough, professional and tailored to the areas I was struggling with as I gym alot. The clinic was clean and well organised. Highly recommended if you're open to trying something new. The wet cupping definitley helped lift a lot of stress.Posted on Google Fung PoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had cupping therapy and the graston muscle scraping for gym recovery and lower back stiffness. Really professional service which is VERY rare in Hertfordshire and the session felt properly tailored.

Why This Clinic Is Different
More than a standard massage, without pretending to be physio
Our role is focused hands-on recovery. We work firmly, combine methods when useful and stay clear about when diagnosis or rehabilitation is needed elsewhere.
What clients often experienced before
What we add
Clear boundary: Herts Cupping does not diagnose injuries or replace physiotherapy. Fresh injuries, worsening symptoms and rehabilitation planning should be handled by the appropriate medical or physiotherapy professional.

Common Questions
Before you book
The questions most relevant to massage, recovery, physio and Hijama searches.
Is this physiotherapy?+
No. We do not diagnose injuries, prescribe rehabilitation programmes or replace physiotherapy. We provide hands-on recovery therapy for muscular tightness, stiffness, training load and restricted areas. A physiotherapist or medical professional is the correct route for diagnosis, fresh injuries and structured rehabilitation.
Can I book after an injury or while having physio?+
Often, yes, once the injury has been assessed and hands-on treatment is appropriate. Our sessions may support lingering muscular tightness, guarding or restricted movement around the area. Follow the advice of the clinician managing the injury, and do not book for a fresh or worsening injury without assessment.
How is this different from deep tissue or sports massage?+
Firm massage is usually the base of a Recovery Session. We can also use dry cupping, movement cupping, IASTM muscle scraping and percussion when they add value. This gives us more ways to work on stubborn tightness than massage alone, without using every method unnecessarily.
Can Hijama wet cupping be used for recovery?+
Yes. Many active clients use Hijama as part of a recovery routine for heavy-feeling areas, muscular tension and general wellbeing. It may help areas feel lighter or less restricted. Hijama can be booked alone or combined with deep tissue and other recovery methods. Results vary and it is not a treatment for a diagnosed injury.
How do I know which session to book?+
Choose Targeted Recovery for one main muscular area, or Full Body Recovery for several areas. Add Hijama when you want wet cupping within the same appointment. Choose standalone Hijama for wet cupping without massage. You can also message us on WhatsApp before booking.
