New to Cupping? Start Here
A few different therapies, often used together. We're one of the few Hijama providers in Hertfordshire and the only clinic combining it with IASTM muscle scraping.
What is Hijama?
Wet cupping rooted in prophetic medicine. Light suction followed by small superficial incisions to draw out stagnant blood. Performed in a fully sterile, private setting with single-use equipment throughout. If you're new to the clinic, this is likely where you'll start.
Dry & Fire Cupping
Cupping without incisions. Dry uses mechanical suction to decompress tight muscle. Fire uses traditional glass cups and heat for deeper penetration into chronic stiffness.
IASTM / Muscle Scraping
Medical-grade steel tools that break down scar tissue and fascial adhesions hands cannot reach. The only clinic in Hertfordshire offering this alongside cupping.
Does It Hurt?
Most clients describe a mild pulling sensation. The marks look dramatic but are not bruises. They fade within 3 to 7 days and every session is tailored to your comfort.
Seen Cupping on Social Media?
That's fair if you're not sure what to make of it. There's a lot of content out there that doesn't represent the therapy well. Cupping has thousands of years of history and genuine clinical interest behind it.
What matters is the environment it's performed in, the training of the person doing it, and the care taken before, during, and after. If you've got questions, we're happy to talk you through it before you commit to anything.

Excellent
Relieved months of lower back pain in just one session. The assessment beforehand was thorough and I knew exactly what to expect. Highly recommended.
The best recovery session I've ever had. Clean, sterile, and they explain everything clearly before starting. You can tell it's not a rushed job.
Very professional and hygienic. I've had Hijama elsewhere before but this was on another level. Felt like a proper clinical experience, not just a quick session.
What You're Actually Paying For
There are cheaper options. Here's the difference.
What's Common Elsewhere
What We Do Differently
Is This Sounding Familiar?
If something has been bothering you and other treatments have not quite sorted it, this is what we see most often.
Lower Back Pain & Stiffness
If you've tried massage and it hasn't shifted your lower back stiffness, targeted cupping works deeper into the tissue layers. We combine dry cupping with myofascial release to decompress the area and get things moving again.
Neck & Shoulder Tension
The kind of tightness that builds up from desk work, driving, or just daily life. Focused soft tissue work on the upper traps, levator scapulae and surrounding areas. Most clients feel a noticeable difference after one session.
Gym Recovery & Mobility
Cupping and IASTM help clear the waste that builds up after heavy training, reduce delayed onset soreness, and improve joint range of motion. Useful for anyone training regularly who wants to recover faster between sessions.
First-Time Hijama & General Wellbeing
If you've been meaning to try Hijama for a while, this is a safe and professional place to start. We walk you through everything, tailor the session to your body, and make sure you're comfortable throughout. No rush, no pressure.
Abdus Shahid
Lead Practitioner
Every session here is with me, personally. I take the time to understand what's going on with your body, build a plan around it, and make sure you leave with clear aftercare. I don't take multiple clients at once and I don't hand you off to someone else. This is a small clinic by design, because I'd rather do fewer sessions properly than more sessions badly.
I'm certified in Hijama Cupping Therapy through the Hijama Clinic (2023), and hold an International Diploma in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation, a Myofascial Cupping Practitioners Diploma, and a Diploma in Trigger Point Therapy through OMT Training.
For female clients, we have a dedicated female practitioner who holds a Diploma in Hijama Cupping Therapy from D2D Therapies (IPHM approved). She provides Hijama in a comfortable, fully private setting.
What Every Session Looks Like
Assessment
We talk through your goals, symptoms, and medical history before anything begins. This is how we make sure the session is right for you and that we're working on the right areas.
Treatment
A tailored session using the combination of techniques that makes sense for your body. Whether that's Hijama, dry cupping, IASTM, or manual therapy, we explain everything as we go.
Aftercare
You leave with clear guidance on what to expect, how to look after any marks, and what to do in the days after your session. We're always a message away if you have questions.
Book Your Session or Get in Touch
Book directly, or message us and we'll help you choose the right session. Either way, we're here when you're ready.
